Am 13. Juli wurden landesweit 261 neue Infektionen bestätigt, davon 119 in Tokio. Die Gesamtzahl der Infizierten seit Ausbruch der Krankheit stieg auf 22.220 (22.932*). Die Zahl der Todesopfer blieb bei 982 (995*) Personen. (MHLW: Link; Präf. Tokio: Link)
Zahlen enthalten Infektionen und Opfer auf Kreuzfahrtschiffen
Von den etwa 8000 Personen, die in Tokio positiv auf das Coronavirus getestet wurden, waren die Behörden bei fast 500 Personen nicht in der Lage, nach dem Test Kontakt mit ihnen aufzunehmen. Dies betrifft insbesondere Personen im nächtlichen Vergnügungsgewerbe. Scheinbar kommt es zu Streitigkeiten zwischen der Zentralregierung und den Behörden in Tokyo. Kabinettsgeneralsekretär Suga bezeichnete den derzeitigen Corona-Ausbruch am 11. Juli bei einer Veranstaltung in Chitose, Hokkaido, als „Problem in Tokyo“ 東京問題 (tōkyō mondai), um die Lockerungspolitik zu rechtfertigen, und bekräftigte diese Worte am 13. Juli. Währenddessen bezeichnete es Gouverneurin Koike als Problem, das das ganze Land angeht 「むしろ国の問題」 (mushiro kuni no mondai). (Yomiuri Shimbun, 14. Juli 2020)

Auf dieser von der japanischen Regierung betriebenen Internetseite wird die Zahl der Menschen, dich sich in den wichtigsten Bahnhöfen Tokios und Japans aufhalten oder ein- und aussteigen gezählt. Link (auf Japanisch)

here are the latest news about the Covid-19 situation in Japan.
On July 13, 261 new infections were confirmed across Japan, 119 of them in Tokyo. The total number of people infected since the onset of the disease rose to 22,220 (22,932*). The death toll remains at 982 (995*). (MHLW: Link; Tokyo Prefecture: Link)

The authorities in Tokyo were unable to contact almost 500 persons of the approximately 8,000 people who tested positive for the corona virus after the test. This applies in particular to people in the night entertainment industry. The authorities fear that these people may have changed employers, work in other clubs and spread the disease. Conflicts appear to be arising between the central government and the Tokyo authorities. A website that shows the utilization of ICU beds across Japan. https://www.stopcovid19.jp/. This is apparently a non-governmental initiative.
This website, operated by the Japanese government, counts the number of people staying, boarding or disembarking in main train stations of Tokyo and Japan. As you can see, a decline of 60 to 80 percent is observed in almost all train stations. Link (in Japanese)
I would still like to draw your attention to the Corona bot. If you are a foreigner in Japan and show corona symptoms or are just looking for information, this chatbot could be helpful for you. It asks you about symptoms of illness and then recommends a hotline you can contact for advice or diagnosis.
